Davina Ramsawak Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Associate 1, Chemicals Group
Davina Ramsawak joined the Intertek Assuris Chemicals Group as a Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Associate I in 2023. As part of the notifications team, Davina’s primary responsibilities include preparing dossiers for Canadian New Substances Notification Regulations (NSNR) under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). In addition, Davina works with the biocides/ agrochemicals team preparing submissions for state registered pesticides in the U.S. and preparing regulatory submissions for pesticides and fertilizers in North America. Davina’s understanding of regulatory requirements allows her to assist clients in effectively registering their chemical substance.
As a generalist, Davina’s role has allowed her to collaborate with multiple teams within the Chemicals Group and has strengthened her adaptability and communication skills. Davina’s project management skills continue to flourish as she actively works with senior management to ensure project tasks are handled in an efficient manner.
Davina graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science and Humber College with a Regulatory Affairs Graduate Certificate.
