Gurkirat Chahal, Project Associate, Chemicals Group
Gurkirat Chahal joined Intertek Health Sciences Inc.’s Chemicals Group in 2024 as group’s Project Associate. In this role, Mr. Chahal has gained a thorough understanding of the Chemicals group’s operations as well as the regulatory expertise provided by the several teams with the group. With strong organizational and time management skills, he facilitates the completion of various administrative and support tasks to maintain the orderly functioning of the team’s daily operations.
His role involves providing effective support in the coordination of regulatory, legal, and accounting-related tasks including, but not limited to, performing proposal reviews and dossier submissions, drafting legal agreements for clients and subcontractors, and coordinating payments for regulatory submissions and/or membership renewals, respectively.
Mr. Chahal’s position within the Chemicals Group allows for foundational project activities to be completed with a high-level of efficiency and consistency.
Mr. Chahal graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology.
