Michaela Marshall, Senior Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Associate, Chemicals Group
Michaela Marshall joined Intertek Health Sciences Inc.’s Chemicals Group in 2018 as the Administrative Assistant. Her time in this role allowed her to gain a high-level understanding of how the group operates to meet the regulatory needs of their clients, as well as the functions and responsibilities of each team within the group. This understanding of the group was very beneficial through her transition to Associate I in 2019, Associate II in 2021, and Senior Associate in 2024. Using her
strong organizational skills and attention to detail, she assists clients in efficiently and effectively bringing their products to market.
In her role as Senior Associate, Ms. Marshall’s primary responsibilities include consulting services for regulation of pesticide devices in Canada and the United States, and preparation of regulatory submissions for pesticides, fertilizers, and agrochemicals in North America. In addition, she helps North American clients meet the requirements of the EU REACH, UK REACH, and KKDIK (Türkiye REACH) regulations as part of the Global REACH Services team.
As part of an ongoing project, Ms. Marshall acts as the main point of contact to support a key account of another Intertek Business Line. Through her effective communication and knowledge of the services offered by Intertek Assuris, she connects internal and external contacts with the expert best suited to address their regulatory needs. Ms. Marshall graduated from the University of Toronto with a MSc. in Chemistry.
