Intertek’s Global Electric Vehicle Testing Centre of Excellence
As global automotive manufacturers continue to invest in and develop their electric vehicle portfolios and electrification technologies, Intertek’s Global Electric Vehicle Testing Centre of Excellence in Milton Keynes aims to push the boundaries of electric propulsion testing. This state-of-the-art EV Centre of Excellence’s testing capabilities include motors, inverters, axle modules, all onboard vehicle electrical systems and complete Electric Vehicle testing. The facility is equipped with 5 world-class EV powertrain test cells, including a two-wheel and four-wheel drive powertrain-in-loop (PiL) climatic test chamber, electric axle module test rigs, and three state-of-the-art e-motor dyno rigs operating at speeds up to 27,000rpm. Intertek’s EV Centre of Excellence was awarded Automotive Testing Technology International’s 2021 Engine Test Facility of the Year award, as well as their Company of the Year award.
