Electrical Load Bank and Power Distribution Testing targeted for the Automotive Industry.
Power distribution testing is a state-of-the-art service Intertek provides to help you better understand what is going on under the hood. With capabilities that focus on the power distribution block, fuse block, and/or fuse panel components in vehicles, our scalable load bank and parametric testing unit is programmed to run continuously at set currents, and it maintains the test parameters determined by your specific needs.
Advanced software technology has eliminated the need for on-site monitoring by allowing our engineers to program the testing unit to make automatic, real-time adjustments to the control units, providing accuracy, efficiency and consistency in the testing procedure. This innovative capability had yielded cost-savings for our customers and has dramatically improved the reliability of test results.
Capabilities and Tests We Offer:
- 688 programmable loads (channels)
- Accurate data/information within +/- .3% for temperature, voltage, current
- Life cycle (load profile with temperature, humidity, and vibration)
- Scalable architecture to test 2,000+ circuits and 2,000+ amperes
- Temperature mapping utilizing thermal imaging
- USCAR connector and terminal evaluations
