Forced Entry
Establish a measure of resistance for door hardware components subject to attacks in order to help resist unwanted entry.
Cycle / Durability Testing
Provide verification of marketing and warranty claims by subjecting to accelerated cycling to simulate field operating conditions.
Fire Testing
Ensure your hardware products remain engaged as required by international building codes & regulatory requirements when exposed to fire.
Blast & Ballistics Resistance
Assess the blast and ballistics resistance & the science of mechanics that deal with launching, flight, behavior, and the effects of projectiles such as bullets.
Electrical Testing
Ensure compliance of electronic access control (EAC) systems & other electric hardware components as they continue to replace traditional doors and basic door hardware.
Structural Testing
Determine hardware performance under various environmental and structural conditions.
Wind Storm: Hurricane / Tornado Resistance
Evaluate the overall impact, static loads, and cyclic loads to identify performance characteristics in hurricane and tornado zones.
Performance & BHMA Testing
Obtain grades for hardware components specified by the applicable ANSI/BHMA standard to validate product performance.
Product Performance / Comparison Testing for Retailers
Obtain grades for hardware components to validate product performance and separate from other hardware products in the market.
We perform testing to a variety of performance requirements and regional provisions, including those stipulated for Miami-Dade County, Florida and the Texas Department of Insurance including:
Accreditations
