Fenestration Testing and Certification for everything from residential vinyl, aluminum, wood and fiberglass windows, commercial curtain walls, roll up doors and garage doors, and window wall systems
Fenestration Testing refers to the process of testing the performance of windows, doors, and other building envelope components such as skylights, curtain walls, and storefronts. The purpose of fenestration testing is to evaluate the ability of these components to resist various environmental factors such as wind, water, and air infiltration, as well as to assess their energy efficiency and acoustic performance. The results of fenestration testing are used to determine whether the components meet the performance requirements specified in building codes and standards, as well as to identify any areas for improvement. This information can then be used by architects, engineers, and building owners to select the most appropriate fenestration components for their projects, and to ensure that these components perform as expected over the long term.
Our Certifications and Accreditations
Intertek’s Certification Marks are proof to architects, building officials and local inspectors that your fenestration product has met local, national or international safety requirements.
We are accredited to ISO 17025 by IAS, FGIA (previously AAMA), Miami-Dade County, The State of Florida, SGCC, IGCC, and NFRC.
