Standard: CSA A123.21-14 – Standard Test Method for the Dynamic Wind Uplift Resistance of Membrane-Roofing Systems
Scope: The test method is used to evaluate the wind uplift resistance of membrane roofing systems when subjected to dynamic wind load cycles.
Applicable Products: Mechanically attached, adhered, and hybrid membrane roofing systems
Test Procedure: The test assembly is subjected to several oscillating pressures contained in various levels, groups, and sequences, with each successive level introducing greater pressures.
End Result: Similar to a UL 580 test, the product must remain intact through an entire level in order to pass said level. A comprehensive test report is issued at the completion of the testing.
