Exporting/Importing to Saudi Arabia – Automatic Extension of P-CoC Validity

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has advised Approved Certification Bodies (CBs) that existing Product Certificates of Conformity (P-CoCs) issued through the SABER platform and which are due to expire anytime during the period March to May 2020 will be automatically renewed for an additional period of 3 months.

Further, SASO has also confirmed that existing valid test reports up to 3 years old from its issue date will be accepted by CBs during the conformity assessment of products, thus temporarily eliminating the need for retesting.
