EPA-Recognized Testing and Certification to ENERGY STAR Requirements

ENERGY STAR^® is an EPA-sponsored energy efficiency certification program and labeling scheme which can help you increase marketability of your higher-efficiency lamps and residential light fixtures (RLF) to energy-conscious customers.

Intertek is recognized by the EPA to perform ENERGY STAR^® testing for lighting products and can help you validate your product to minimum performance standards for distribution, color, and longevity/stress.

Note: The EPA has sunset new certifications for ceiling fan light kits effective August 1, 2023. The EPA has sunset new certifications for lamps and luminaires effective December 31, 2023. The previously certified lamps and luminaires will remain on the ENERGY STAR Qualified Product List (QPL) until December 31, 2024. Revisions may be made to those listings, but no new models can be added
