Intertek Acquires Plastics Technology Laboratories

Intertek, the leading international provider of quality and safety services to a wide range of global and local industries, announces that it has acquired Plastics Technology Laboratories, Inc. (PTLI), in Pittsfield, MA, USA.

PTLI is a leader in polymer testing, providing services to major producers and end-users of plastics, elastomers, composites, packaging and films in the aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and many other markets. PTLI provides the plastics industry with extensive expertise in mechanical, physical testing, thermal, rheological, flammability, analytical, weathering and electrical material evaluations for plastics, elastomers, composites, packaging and films.
