IECEx IEC/TS 60079-46 Standard Update Fact Sheet

IECEx IEC/TS 60079-46 specifies requirements for the design, construction, assembly, testing, inspection, marking, documenting, and assessment of equipment assemblies for use in explosive atmospheres. This standard is in immediate effect for all new evaluations, and previous policy IECEx DS 2015/001A will be withdrawn, and may no longer be used to issue certificates for assemblies of certified components, in 2020.
