ISO 45001: The New Look of Occupational Health & Safety
Through five years between proposition and publication, ISO 45001 has gone through much review and preparation. The ISO 45001 standard provides the basis for the improvement of safety and working conditions, and reduction of risks for workers. The newly approved Occupational Health and Safety will replace OHSAS 18001 as the industry standard for controlling and improving health and safety in the workplace. Occupational Health and Safety will continue to be an integral part of companies’ integrated management systems, which formerly were comprised of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007, but since the recent revisions, will now consist of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
This presentation will focus on preparing to transition, the major differences between the new and old standards. To view the webinar, please fill out the registration form below.
