There are basic requirements for cosmetic packaging in current cosmetic regulation system in China, however, there is no existing specific regulation or guideline for cosmetic packaging. In this context, most of countries recommend to refer to food contact regulation. Intertek will provide an overview of regulatory context for food contact materials, by explaining the regulation for plastic materials and other types of materials which can be used for cosmetic purpose. The goal of this presentation is to explain how FCM regulations work and what the requirements are to comply with those regulations in China.
